If you’re a cannabis enthusiast, you may have heard of Delta 8 THC, the new entrant in cannabinoids. Cannabis contains more than 100 cannabinoids, with CBD and THC (Delta-9 THC) being the most common. Delta 8 THC is an emerging cannabinoid that is popular with both medicinal and recreational cannabis users.

Delta 8 THC has various medicinal and health benefits, but it also makes you feel euphoric. The special thing about this cannabinoid is that its euphoria is milder than that of Delta 9 THC and does not cause paranoia.

While Delta 9 THC is illegal, Delta 8 THC isn’t illegal, which makes it even more popular. If cannabis is still illegal in your state, you can get high quality Delta 8 flowers for a mildly psychoactive experience. However, if you can’t find it, you can use Delta 8 spray to convert your CBD flower to Delta 8 flower.

What is Delta 8 Flower Sprayed?

A sprayed flower is a potent form of weed moon rock. Spraying gives hemp flowers a frosty look, but it’s not just about looks. it also increases cannabinoid levels. The flower forms the base with the kief and distills in the top layers.

Spraying is a simple process that you can do at home with simple equipment. All you have to do is coat your flower with Delta 8 distillate and then dust it with CBG or CBD kief. This results in a frosty look.

Requirement:

flower

It all depends on the type and quality of the flower you are picking. You don’t want flowers that break into pieces when you spray them. So make sure the flower is dense enough. Also, choose a bright green CBD flower. After the distillate is applied, the color will darken to a desired darker green color.

distillate

You can use either full spectrum or broad spectrum distillate. The choice is mostly personal. You can consider factors such as your intended use to determine the best distillate.

Kief

Kief is a cannabis crystal made of luminous resin from trichomes. Your kief should be the right color. It should also match the Delta-9 values. For this reason, most people prefer cannabigerol (CBG) kief over CBD kief as it is less likely to contain more than the 0.3% THC threshold.

Terpenes (optional)

Terpenes are important in adding flavor to your flowers. But they’re an option, not a necessity. You still get your product just without the cannabis aroma. If you need to use terpenes, choose hemp-derived terpenes.

Spray gun

The right type shouldn’t clog with the viscosity of the distillate. At the same time, it should produce droplets fine enough to create a uniform texture on the flower.

Rotating mixer

You want a blender that will smear the distillate and kief evenly over the flower as you spray. The main thing to consider when choosing a mixer is movement. The device should have a slight tumbling motion so as not to break the hemp flower into pieces.

Steps to Turn Your CBD Flower into Delta 8 Flower

1. PREPARE THE FLOWER

Cut the flower as much as possible to remove the stems. The stalks will waste your kief. Removing the stem will ensure you don’t waste your THC8 spray.

2. PREPARING THE DISTILLATE

Do not use distillate that is too dense (THC-8 spray). Before proceeding, shake the bottle to stir it up. You can also add terpenes to reduce viscosity.

3. CBD FLOWER SPRAY

Place the flower in the mug to apply the distillate.

Spray the flower finely and evenly with the distillate.

4. Apply the kief

Spread the kief finely and evenly on the flower.

After completing the above procedure, do not use your product. Let the product dry for about six hours and you’re good to go.

Use of Delta-8 THC

Just like with CBD flowers, there are several different ways you can use Delta-8 THC flowers. You can smoke, vape, or make food. If CBD flowers are legal in your state, then you have an excellent option to convert your regular CBD flower to Delta-8 THC at home for personal use.

Is Delta 8 Flower Legal?

The main concern for many users is the legality of Delta 8 flowers. If that is your concern, you can be assured that the product is legal. Just make sure the CBD flower you are using as a base meets the legal limits of 0.03% THC and you are safe.

Conclusion

You’ve probably heard the hype surrounding Delta-8 THC. If you want to try it out and it’s not available in your area, you can turn your regular CBD flower into a Delta 8 THC flower using the steps above.

If you have access to high quality Delta-8 THC spray, you can turn any CBD flower into Delta-8 THC flower. You can find spray bottles pre-filled with Delta 8 THC to make the process even easier for you.
